World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of items is a crucial aspect of preparing your character. Upgrades increase the base damage as well as enhancements of items.
They also offer rewards and upgrades. They are available from the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button can be found on any item. Every item recycled adds level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapon
When an item is upgraded, it will gain a base damage bonus as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. The weapon may also gain a number of upgrade components that offer additional effects or attributes, and some have unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets. They generally require that the equipment is equipped with an upgrade slot and that it meets certain specifications. When a weapon or armor piece features an upgrade component within it, it can be replaced with another but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be found using the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or high-tier salvaging tool that is attached to an item.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that improves certain stats, like Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be repeated four times depending on the weapon's level.
After the weapon has reached its maximum level of improvement and is then reforged to add different effects and bonuses or to boost specific stats. A variety of these upgrades can be used at once, and the effects differ based on the nature of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths can be upgraded in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both upgrade materials differ: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.
In general, it's best to upgrade your weapon damage first. Then, you can upgrade your armour defense and, finally the secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons before upgrading other equipment. This will increase DPS. This is particularly true for enchantments that can increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to increase the stats base of certain armor pieces, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also bring additional effects, for example, an increase in damage or an enhancement to the appearance of. Item Upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, or in loot drops or as rewards from quests.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most of the time an item of armor will be upgraded to next tier once an upgrade is applied. Most types of armor can be upgraded, but certain items (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island) cannot.
The majority of armor upgrades provide a small increase to an item's base defense or strength. Certain upgrade components, however can lead to significant increases in strength or defense. This is especially relevant when upgrading epic items.
Certain upgrades grant special abilities that can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can prove useful in combat. For example they can boost the speed of attack or block. Certain upgrades provide passive effects that can be beneficial like reducing damage while wearing armor or increasing the chance to dodge an attack.
Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item can require several tries. For example the case of a player wanting to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of the ages of 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor with an initial defense of 67-77 and the list goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations holds an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular opinion, armor in The Division 2 is not in any way useless. The reality is that certain armors come with very substantial enhancements to poison, curse, fire or magical damage reduction, making them very useful for certain builds. Additionally, there are ways to boost armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait that reduces total weight.

By placing a potion on a brewing stand, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a brand new tier of potion effect, and can be repeated to unlock more potency levels.
The potion also has a custom color code that the player can pick using /give and which affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows generated by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color also affects the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, mundane and thick potions and awkward potions, now have a different texture when they are brewed. In the Creative Inventory the potion healing and weakness have been added. In addition, there are lingering potions that can be prepared using splash potions or Dragon breath. Also added is a thick potion that has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Trinket
A trinket is a small ornament that is inexpensive or a piece of jewelry. It can be a ring or necklace. Or even a small banner to mark the yard of a lateen boat. It could also be a reference to a gold-plated trinket on the mast of a vessel.
This bizarre trinket seems to be influencing denizens in this maze by making them more common. This trinket, at present, makes all kinds of Xx of mimics more common and gives every floor an A% chance that it will contain an ebony replica. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.
The magic of this enchanted scepter seems to be affecting the dungeon itself, making it more likely to create water and grass. At its current level, this trinket makes X% of regular floors filled with grass or water, but doesn't affect enchantments or symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or items that are created to help solve hazard rooms.
This item, which looks like a eyes of a nymph, seems to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond merely reducing your field-of-view. At its current level this trinket can increase the total health of the drinkers of healing, waterskins, and wells of health by X% and gives you the ability to see enemies within Y tiles. This is not a stacking feature with the Heightened Senses.
After you have completed the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by beating Monsters and inside crates and chests in Skull Cavern. They are not found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket into the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will have an unpredictable effect on the trinket, either extending its lifespan or strengthening its effects. You can reforge the trinket as often as you'd like however it will always be able to produce an effect that is new.
You can also improve your Trinkets by putting them in a Magical Catalyst located at the Alchemy Station. It will cost you 6 energy, however it will increase the power of the trinket by a small amount.
